Frostport
Mission briefing
Kai Holm comes home to Frostport for the winter: a harbour town under a ski mountain, a frozen lake, a fjord full of ice and a ski village at the top of the lift. On his first run a blast echoes off the peaks and the slope breaks loose. NorrCo — Magnus Strand's mining company — is blasting the mountain, drilling under the lake and buying the town house by house, and the Wolfpack, a snowmobile crew on its payroll, scares off anyone who will not sell. Ride the Black Run ahead of a wall of snow. Skim a snowmobile across open water from floe to floe. Climb ice with an axe where no police car can follow and zipline down the lift cables. Race Varg for Olga's stolen snowmobile, brawl your way through NorrCo's office for their plans, rob NorrCo's payroll from the village bank with Finn, steal their armoured snowcat and vanish into a blizzard when the whole town is after you. Twenty-one story missions take you to the summit — and the whole mountain coming down. Between missions the valley is yours: two towns to explore — Frostport on the fjord and the car-free Ski Village up the lift — shops, homes and businesses that earn while you are away, boards, sleds and snow vehicles to buy, hidden cash stashes to find, and odd jobs from the villagers. Every day one run gets Fresh Powder: double trick cash for the first descent. **Features** - A harbour town, a ski village, a ski mountain, a frozen lake and a fjord to ride, climb, drive and explore - Snowboard with carving, tucks, big air, spins and grabs; outrun avalanches down three pistes - Snowmobiles that skim open water, an armoured snowcat, cars, boats and a helicopter - Climb ice and rock with an ice axe and zipline down the lift cables - Fist fights in the streets and indoors: a jab-cross-kick combo against the Wolfpack and NorrCo's guards - 21 story missions plus side jobs: snow races, ski-patrol rescues, the Village Slalom, the Hot Cocoa Run and the Sled Course - Businesses that earn while you are offline; a daily Fresh Powder bonus - Cartoon action: no blood, knocked-down people stay down - Plays on PC (keyboard and mouse) and on phones and tablets (touch controls) - Every shop, home and business one tap away from the pause menu - In 9 languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Turkish, Italian, Polish

Launch orders: press Launch mission above and the game loads on this page itself — nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first move. It is designed for a flexible screen and takes its orders from mouse, keyboard or touch, depending on the mission. It adapts to both upright and wide screens, so phones, tablets and desktops all frame it sensibly. If it offers a fullscreen control, use it — a fight this size deserves the whole screen.
Field notes for action operations
- First run is reconnaissance. Spend it learning where the danger actually spawns from instead of chasing a score — most action games announce their patterns honestly in the opening minute, then repeat them with worse manners.
- Movement is a defensive stat. A moving target at half health outlives a stationary one at full health in nearly every game on this board, so keep relocating between shots, strikes and reloads.
- Learn the exit before the entrance closes. In arena and chase games alike, the players who survive longest are the ones who noticed the second doorway while everyone else was watching the first.
Frostport — questions from the ranks
What does it cost to play Frostport?
Nothing at all. The mission is free from the first order to the last — no sign-up, no download, no paid tier guarding the good levels. The advertising around this page is what keeps the board free.
What sort of mission is Frostport?
Frostport is filed in our Action theatre. Like every operation on this board, it is a browser game — read the briefing above for the publisher's own account of what you are deploying into.
Can I run Frostport on a phone or tablet?
Yes. It plays in the browser on phones and tablets exactly as it does on a computer. It adapts to both upright and wide screens, so phones, tablets and desktops all frame it sensibly.
Do I have to install anything before playing?
No installation of any kind. Frostport is an HTML5 game: press the launch button and it loads on this page, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
