Magic Aim
Mission briefing
Magic Aim is a real-time arcade artillery game starring a chibi magician. Read the shifting wind, charge your wand, and fire arcing elemental blasts that split in mid-air to clear waves of monsters across hilly terrain. Dash for a better angle, raise an energy shield to block incoming fire, grab item drops that supercharge your next shots, then warp to a fresh layout. Unlike classic turn-based artillery games, every shot is live and fast — mastery is reading arcs and wind on the fly. Four elements (Fire, Water, Thunder, Earth) each fly differently, so swapping changes how you read the same shot. Pixel-art, juicy, and easy to pick up for a quick run.
Field manual
Survive escalating waves of monsters and score as high as you can. Clear every monster in a layout to warp to the next, tougher one — your run ends when you're defeated. Score rewards kills, speed, accuracy and style (splits and perfect blocks). Aim toward your cursor and watch the wind gauge — wind pushes your shot mid-flight and shifts every few seconds. Hold to charge for power, release to fire; shots can split at the apex into a fan for crowd control. Raise your shield just before an enemy shot lands for a perfect block (mana refund + speed burst). Walk to reposition and grab item drops that buff your shots. Controls (desktop): • Aim — Mouse • Charge & fire — hold / release Left Mouse • Energy shield — Right Mouse or Space • Move — A / D (or ← / →) • Dash-warp — double-tap ← or → • Swap element — 1–4 • Pause — Esc Mobile: virtual joystick + drag-to-aim + on-screen fire/shield buttons.
Launch orders: press Launch mission above and the game loads on this page itself — nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first move. It is designed for a flexible screen and takes its orders from mouse, keyboard or touch, depending on the mission. It adapts to both upright and wide screens, so phones, tablets and desktops all frame it sensibly. If it offers a fullscreen control, use it — a fight this size deserves the whole screen.
Field notes for shooting operations
- Short bursts beat long ones. Recoil, spread and plain panic all grow the longer you hold the trigger; three controlled shots land where one long spray writes poetry on the wall behind your target.
- Reload behind something. The reload animation is the most dangerous second in any shooter — spend it behind cover, mid-jump, or not at all if the magazine still has work in it.
- Sound is intelligence. Footsteps, reload clicks and distant fire tell you where the fight is before the screen does; play with the volume up and treat every noise as a map marker.
Magic Aim — questions from the ranks
What does it cost to play Magic Aim?
Nothing at all. The mission is free from the first order to the last — no sign-up, no download, no paid tier guarding the good levels. The advertising around this page is what keeps the board free.
What sort of mission is Magic Aim?
Magic Aim is filed in our Shooting theatre. Like every operation on this board, it is a browser game — read the briefing above for the publisher's own account of what you are deploying into.
Can I run Magic Aim on a phone or tablet?
Yes. It plays in the browser on phones and tablets exactly as it does on a computer. It adapts to both upright and wide screens, so phones, tablets and desktops all frame it sensibly.
Do I have to install anything before playing?
No installation of any kind. Magic Aim is an HTML5 game: press the launch button and it loads on this page, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
