Madness Online
Mission briefing
Madness Online is a brutal 2D top-down multiplayer survival shooter set in a procedurally generated infinite world. Players must navigate a hostile, apocalyptic environment by fighting off relentless waves of zombies and enemy entities. The game blends intense, fast-paced gunplay with deep survival mechanics, allowing players to gather resources, craft essential gear, and construct fortified bases. Featuring dynamic combat with dodge mechanics and an expansive inventory system, players can team up with friends to build and survive together, or face the unforgiving world solo.

Launch orders: press Launch mission above and the game loads on this page itself — nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first move. It is designed for a flexible screen and takes its orders from mouse, keyboard or touch, depending on the mission. It adapts to both upright and wide screens, so phones, tablets and desktops all frame it sensibly. If it offers a fullscreen control, use it — a fight this size deserves the whole screen.
Field notes for zombie operations
- The horde is a resource problem wearing a horror costume. Every bullet spent on one zombie is one not spent on the five behind it — line them up, funnel them, make each shot plural.
- Barricades buy seconds, not safety. Spend those seconds on the next line of defense or the exit, never on admiring the first one.
- Noise is a beacon. Loud weapons solve the zombie in front of you and summon the street behind you; the quiet option is often the shot you do not take.
Madness Online — questions from the ranks
What does it cost to play Madness Online?
Nothing at all. The mission is free from the first order to the last — no sign-up, no download, no paid tier guarding the good levels. The advertising around this page is what keeps the board free.
What sort of mission is Madness Online?
Madness Online is filed in our Zombie theatre. Like every operation on this board, it is a browser game — read the briefing above for the publisher's own account of what you are deploying into.
Can I run Madness Online on a phone or tablet?
Yes. It plays in the browser on phones and tablets exactly as it does on a computer. It adapts to both upright and wide screens, so phones, tablets and desktops all frame it sensibly.
Do I have to install anything before playing?
No installation of any kind. Madness Online is an HTML5 game: press the launch button and it loads on this page, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
