Deck Of Deception
Mission briefing
Deck of Deception is an online multiplayer bluffing card game where every coin counts. Play number cards to match the call, use action cards to drain, steal or protect coins, and survive the Deception Showdown, where a wrong guess means instant elimination. Climb from Apprentice to Legend through ranked matches, and play against real players or bots in fast matches of up to 20 minutes.
Field manual
Goal: finish the match with the most coins and the fewest cards. Your score is the coins (PC) you have left. Controls: mouse click or screen tap only. No keyboard needed. 1. On your turn, tap a card in your hand that matches the number the previous player called, then tap a number on the pad to set what the next player must match. Playing a card earns you +1 coin. 2. No matching card? Tap the Market Deck to buy one for 2 coins. You can draw up to 3 cards per turn, or tap "Stop here". 3. Action cards: Wild Swap matches any number (2 coins), Power drains a player's coins, Steal takes coins for yourself, Insurance lets you skip safely, and Reverse flips the turn direction. Tap a card, then tap a player when asked. 4. You have 30 seconds per turn. If time runs out you lose 2 coins and your turn is skipped. 5. Deception Showdown: when a player is broke with no matching card for two turns in a row, a showdown starts. Players with coins secretly pick a real number from 1 to 9 and announce a claim, which can be an honest claim or a bluff. Broke players tap the claim they believe. A right guess earns +15 coins, and a wrong guess gets you eliminated. 6. When the 20-minute limit is reached, the player with more coins and fewer cards wins. Win matches to rank up, earn coins and unlock cosmetics.
Launch orders: press Launch mission above and the game loads on this page itself — nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first move. It is designed for a landscape (wide) screen and takes its orders from mouse, keyboard or touch, depending on the mission. It is built wide, for a landscape screen — rotate a phone sideways, or give it a tablet or monitor to stretch out on. If it offers a fullscreen control, use it — a fight this size deserves the whole screen.
Field notes for multiplayer operations
- The first match against strangers is tuition. You are not there to win it; you are there to learn the map, the pacing and what the regulars do that the tutorial never mentioned.
- Ping and position beat raw aim. A stable connection and a sensible place to stand will win you more rounds than any sensitivity setting ever published.
- Rematch the player who beat you cleanly. Queues are random, but lessons are not — the opponent who outplayed you is a free coach for exactly the skill you are missing.
Deck Of Deception — questions from the ranks
What does it cost to play Deck Of Deception?
Nothing at all. The mission is free from the first order to the last — no sign-up, no download, no paid tier guarding the good levels. The advertising around this page is what keeps the board free.
What sort of mission is Deck Of Deception?
Deck Of Deception is filed in our Multiplayer theatre. Like every operation on this board, it is a browser game — read the briefing above for the publisher's own account of what you are deploying into.
Can I run Deck Of Deception on a phone or tablet?
Yes. It plays in the browser on phones and tablets exactly as it does on a computer. It is built wide, for a landscape screen — rotate a phone sideways, or give it a tablet or monitor to stretch out on.
Do I have to install anything before playing?
No installation of any kind. Deck Of Deception is an HTML5 game: press the launch button and it loads on this page, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
