Mission briefing

TerraBlox is a pixel sandbox about survival and mining. Every world is generated anew: forests, deserts, snowy peaks, crystal caves, a necropolis, floating islands and a scorching underworld. Dig tunnels and look for ore, smelt bars and forge tools, build a house and fill it with residents, catch fish and brew potions. Build your own fighting style: sword, bow, firearms, magic, whips or boomerangs. Monsters come out at night, and the masters of each biome wait deep below. Defeating the final boss unlocks the finale. Play with a mouse or on a phone: the controls fit your screen, and your progress is saved automatically.

Field manual

Explore a generated world, dig for ore, craft better gear and defeat the bosses of every biome. Beat the final boss to reach the finale. Desktop: A/D or arrows to move, W, Space or Up to jump, S or Down to drop through platforms. Left mouse button digs, attacks and places blocks; right mouse button opens chests and doors. E opens the inventory and crafting, Tab the map, Esc the menu. Mouse wheel or keys 1-0 pick a hotbar slot, Shift places a torch. Phone: left joystick moves, right joystick aims and acts, on-screen buttons jump and open the inventory.

It is designed for a landscape (wide) screen and takes its orders from mouse, keyboard or touch, depending on the mission. It is built wide, for a landscape screen — rotate a phone sideways, or give it a tablet or monitor to stretch out on. If it offers a fullscreen control, use it — a fight this size deserves the whole screen.

Nothing at all. The mission is free from the first order to the last — no sign-up, no download, no paid tier guarding the good levels. The advertising around this page is what keeps the board free.
